この頃は、３５エンジンを搭載した機体（佐々木氏設計のプリンスなど）を自作していました。燃料タンクは３５エンジンに適合するものが近所の模型店になかったため自作しました。ただ、材料となる真鍮パイプを入手するのに苦労しました。
燃料も薬局でひまし油とメタノールを購入して自作しました。市販燃料もありましたが、自作燃料の方がコスト的に安かったのです。
当時、中学生の私にとってラジコンにも非常に興味がありましたが、それは高嶺の花でとても手が出ませんでした。
しかし、Ｕコンも奥が深く、とても魅力のあるものだったのです。
At this time,I produced the model designed by Mr.Sasaki with a 35 engine. However ,I made a fuel tank, because a fuel tank which fits in
３5 engine was not at the model shop in my neighborhood.
I bought castor oil and methanol at the pharmacy, so used fuel mixed 25% castor oil, 75% methanol.
I was vey interesting in a radio control airplane at junior high school sudent.Howevcer,the radio system was too expensive for me.
Although a u-control airplane has a fascination for me.
